You have been transported into the world of Minecraft! Work together to solve puzzles and challenges based on the world of Minecraft in order to escape! Will you escape back to reality, or be trapped in the world of Minecraft forever?&nb

Do you have an interest in reading and trivia? Advanced Battle of the Books is a county-wide competition for teens in grades 9 through 12. We will compete with other Suffolk County libraries in the Spring. 

We will be reading and discussing Yona of the Dawn 1!by Mizuho Kusanagi, then enjoying snacks and crafts as we watch episodes from the anime adaptation! Check out the book from the teen desk in the Mastic Beach Branch or the Main Building.

Help us put on our production of the classic play Peter Pan for the children’s department!
Rehearsals will count as one hour of community service each. Speak to Mr. Kyle in the Teen Department if you'd like to join!

Earn one hour of community service by helping to sort and pack food donations. 

Draw, paint, sketch and explore art with Mr. Casper. This is a drop-in program.

Pick up a packet of “Color A Smile" coloring sheets from the Moriches branch or Main building anytime in February. Color all 8 pages at home to earn 2 hours of community service.

Watch "Pokémon Presents", play some games and bring your own cards to exchange and show off. One pack of Pokémon sampling pack trading cards will be provided to each registered teen. 

Join Ms. Melissa for a hands-on polymer clay class! Roll, twist, shape, and create personalized jewelry or sculptures as you experiment with vibrant colors and fun tools. 

Help decorate the library by getting it ready for the spring season! Earn 1 hour of community service. For teens in grades 6 through 12 with a valid MMS library card.

Enrichment is a distinctive program designed for those with special needs. Hang out and eat pizza Ms. Currao (William Floyd High School special education teacher) and other library friends!

Pretend it's the arcade days with some retro NES games on the Nintendo Switch! Eat snacks and try to get the highest score!
