Event Details

This Boating Safety Course offered by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary is an introductory course that fulfills Federal and NY State requirements to operate a personal watercraft and recreational vessel on NY waterways for ages 10 years and older. As of 1 January 2025, anyone operating a Motor vessel in New York State must have completed this class. Upon completion you will receive a Boating Safety Certificate. 

There is a $50 fee for the 8-hour course, which includes a Boat America study guide that can be picked at any branch after you have registered.
