Join us for a heartwarming story time and cooking adventure! We’ll read the classic tale Stone Soup, then work together to make a simple, delicious soup, just like in the story. 

Discover how delicious healthy eating can be con sazón y corazón! In this fun and flavorful class, we’ll put a fresh twist on a Latin favorite by making gluten-free waffles from plátanos.

Join A Mano Baking to learn how to make chocolate chip cookies, a classic favorite. Patrons are required to bring their own mixing bowl and utensil of their choice.

Bake up some love...almost! Kids will roll, fill, and decorate their very own heart-shaped “Pop-Tarts” at the library. Take your treats home to bake and share with someone special. 

Use candy hearts in fun science experiments and challenges! 

Grades 2-5.
 

Get cozy and creative with us! Kids will design and paint their very own mugs, then mix up a special hot cocoa blend to take home and enjoy later. It’s the perfect combination of art, fun, and a little winter magic. 

If you like pancakes with warm maple syrup, come with a friend and enjoy breakfast for dinner!

Grades K-2. 

Make your own sweet, stretchy slime using cherry Jell-O—it’s fun to play with and safe to eat!

This program may not be suitable for those with food allergies.

Suffolk County Farm will be at our Library as they teach you how to make ice cream the old-fashioned way, with a hand-crank! Then enjoy samples of your homemade treat!
