Event Details

The AARP Smart Driver Course covers defensive driving techniques and the normal changes in vision, hearing, and reaction time associated with aging. The course also provides practical techniques for adjusting to these changes to ensure the driver’s own safety and that of others on the road. During the course, participants learn how 1) to share the road with others 2) about current rules of the road and 3) how to operate their vehicles more safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment. Anyone with a NYS Driver's License may take this class regardless of age.

$25.00 fee AARP members or $30.00 non-members. Check or money order, payable to AARP, due upon entering the class. NO CASH OR CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED. No late entry to the classroom is allowed.
